Your tasks:

  • You will assist with quantitative research methods—primarily behavioral analytics, mouse tracking, and surveys—and gain an understanding of the entire process.

  • You will help analyze user behavior using heatmaps, click paths, and scroll data, and derive initial recommendations for optimizing online stores.

  • You will create and maintain surveys and assist with the statistical analysis.

  • You will help visualize and prepare research results for internal presentations and reports.

  • You will bring fresh perspectives to the table and enjoy experimenting with new methods and AI tools to further develop our UX research work.

  • When needed, you will also assist with qualitative methods such as usability tests or in our customer community.

What you bring along:

  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program (e.g., psychology, human factors, social sciences, communication studies, or media studies) and will remain enrolled for at least another year, and you have 15–20 hours per week available.

  • You are interested in quantitative research methods and data analysis—prior experience from your studies is a plus.

  • You work independently and meticulously and enjoy diving into data.
    You have a basic understanding of statistics and are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • You communicate clearly in German (B2 level) and are a quick learner.

  • You’re eager to work flexibly and remotely, gain real insights into professional research processes, and learn directly from experienced experts—with a few events in Bamberg/Weismain where we’d like to see you in person.
